Three keyboard short keys explained
Seeing as we are using Microsoft word, I chose to explain three Microsoft Word keyboard short cuts.
If you’d like to align a line or selected text to the center of the screen you could use Ctrl + E (at the same time) to perform this action.
If you would like to perform a task in back to back times you could use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl and the letter Y (at the same time) to perform this action
If you would like to remove a mistake then you would use Ctrl and the letter Z (at the same time) to perform this action
Three Keyboard Shortcuts:
ReplyDelete1. Hit the F1 key in windows to start the windows help menu.
2. Press the ALT plus F6 key in windows to quickly switch between multiple windows in the same program.
3. Press ALT plus SPACE in windows to display the main windows system menu.
My favorite top 4 keyboard short cuts are:
ReplyDeleteCtrl+S, save that work as you go along, don’t get burned! Works in all Microsoft app’s and many third party windows compatibles
Alt + Tab, when you’re multitasked the mouse will slow you down, use this one to navigate between open windows
Ctrl+V, to paste that stuff you’ve copied to the clip board, if any of you have used the BCC Angle site you’ll find this one useful.
1. To find a word or phrase in text press CTRL+F. When the find and replace dialogue box shows up, type in the word or phrase you would like to find, and then press the Find button.
ReplyDelete2. To insert an indent into a pargraph press CTRL+M
3. To increase the font size of text press CTRL+SHIFT+. and to decrease the font size of text press CTRL+SHIFT+,
All of these shortcuts work in the Office programs.
The “+” symbol in the below keyboard shortcuts means to continue to hold the prior key, while selecting the next key/ With this being said here are three I just learned from this research project;
ReplyDeleteAlt + F1 will create a chart that uses a selected range within Excel
Ctrl + Spacebar will select the entire column of a selected cell in Excel
