MS PowerPoint
Please utilize this space to provide comments, feedback, etc. related to PowerPoint. Keep in mind that although you are not required to submit each of the PowerPoint chapters for an official grade, you are highly recommended to thoroughly review the chapters so that you have a good grasp on the requirements for your final portfolio.

I found this lab assignment to be quite easy. I have used other software to perform power point style presentations so i was somewhat familiar with how to complete the lab.
ReplyDeleteThis lab assignment seemed easy to me as well, however I had a bit of an issue with SAM it seems. I was graded 91 on all 3 of my submissions.
ReplyDeleteWhen I reviewed the results showing what went wrong it had deducted 9 points for an error in the title text box. However the word "ear" did not show on that file; it was however on the file that I had uploaded each of the 3 times.
I wasn't sure if anyone else had an issue similar to this, but I wanted to mention it in case.
I am planning on completing at least one of the extra credit assignments just as a review to make sure that I haven't forgetting anything.... but I've always felt PowerPoint to be the easiest of all the MS Office programs.
I tried to complete lab 2 for chapter 3 in PowerPoint however the images are missing... the outline is there, just not the images. I unfortunately spent a decent chunk of time on this and then realized that I was unable to complete the assignment.
ReplyDeleteI checked and the outline is there for chapter 3, lab 3 as well... but again no images!
Everything seems to be there for both of the labs for chapter 4 as well. That added to the fact that both the outlines needed for chapter 3 were included is enough to convince me that I downloaded the correct files the book so I'm completely stumped.
I'm throwing in the towel and just going to focus on the portfolio I guess.

I didn't have any trouble with the PowerPoint Assignment in SAM, i did have some issues with the chapter 3 lab I did for extra credit. The problems came from my having MS Office 2010.

ReplyDeleteThe power point I for the final portfolio was not too bad. It was actual fun doing it because I thought it was pretty creative and fun. It made me learn a lot through this course and my final year through BCC
